With over a decade in the trenches, Brian P. Azemika has helped personal injury victims obtain just compensation. He works morning to night, seven days a week, maximizing recoveries for his injured clients.
Mr. Azemika has handled many types of injury cases, including auto accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, slip/trip and fall cases, dog bites, wrongful death cases, and premises liability claims. In doing so, he has secured millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients, always putting his clients first as he takes on the stubborn insurance companies with the tenacity of a bulldog.
Mr. Azemika obtained his education right here in Northern California. In 2001 he graduated from the University of California Davis with honors, taking a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in History. In 2004, he graduated on the Dean's List from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
During law school he excelled. At UOP McGeorge School of Law, the once home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, he was awarded the Barrister's Scholarship, the Gary V. Schaber Memorial Scholarship, and the John A. McCarthy Scholarship. He also served as an editor for one of McGeorge’s prestigious law reviews, showing early his attention to detail and scholarship.
Sworn in to the California Bar in December 2004, Mr. Azemika is licensed to practice law before all courts in the State of California and in Federal Court in the Eastern District of the United States District Court.
Mr. Azemika began his practice in Bakersfield, California, working for a well known Kern County civil litigation firm. There he focused his passion for justice, energies and scholarship on a wide variety of personal injury and medical malpractice cases, honing his skills as a trial attorney and advocating on behalf of his clients at trial and at the appellate level. While in Bakersfield, he also served as an elected member of the Board of Directors for the Kern County Bar Association.
In 2008, Mr. Azemika and his wife returned to the Sacramento area, where they lived during his undergraduate and law school years. For the next nine years, he grew as an attorney, honing his skills in the courtroom and mastering his craft in the area of personal injury law.
In 2017, Mr. Azemika was nominated as a 2017 Trial Advocate of the Year by the Capital City Trial Lawyers Association as a result of a substantial jury verdict he was able to attain in a difficult trial in Amador County. That same year, he was named a 2017 Top Lawyer in Personal Injury by Sacramento Magazine.
Mr. Azemika is also a member of both the Capital City Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
